Established in 1987 as Cape Girardeau Printing, The Printing Co. is expanding through new partnerships to offer greater convenience and new opportunities to our customers throughout the region.

On December 15, 2010, Cape Girardeau Printing announced the changing of its business name to The Printing Co.

"Our new name reflects the evolution of our company, from a small business with a single printing press, to one of the largest, state-of-the-art print logistics companies in the region," commented Jason Coalter, vice-president. "We have continued to grow, even in these challenging times, by adding new opportunities and expanding our capabilities."

On December 15, 2010, The Printing Co. announced the acquisition of Blake Graphic Arts in Farmington, Missouri.

"The legacy of Blake Graphic Arts is one that we're proud to carry on," said Coalter. "Through the leadership of Mr. Blake, Mark Griggs and Anita Gray, the business has served the Farmington community for many years."

The Printing Co. will continue to employ all the associates working for the company and the business will remain at the current location on Columbia Street. "We welcome all the existing Blake employees to our team and look forward to working with the local community to understand their business needs and offer solutions," continued Coalter. "It's a local 'hometown' business model within our company, and that doesn't change between any of our locations."
